Add to Technorati Favorites
  1. Scan your own site for keywords, you’ve probably already written a ton of them
  2. Visit SEOTools.com and play with their tools like Keyword Density, Traffic Checker and others
  3. Use the Google Keyword Tool and the new Google Search-based Keyword Tool
  4. Once you have a small set, take the common ones and look for synonyms at Thesaurus.com
  5. Checkout Spyfu.com for what keywords competitor websites are bidding on
  6. Visit competitor sites and search around through their source and on page text for keywords
  7. Watch your organic keyword traffic for additional clues about what it bringing people to your site
  8. Ask some friends and family what they would search for to get an outsider point of view
  9. Read product descriptions or fine print for any good or services you are selling
  10. Play with Google Sets, I’m really not sure what else this is good for anyway
