It is mid March and it has been about 10 weeks since the last Google Toolbar PageRank update was released.  Some say Google constantly updates your site’s actual PageRank, but the publicly available PageRank shown on the Google Toolbar is only updated about 4-5 times per year, others hold that the PR only works when done as a snapshot in time.  Either way the Toolbar updates are the report cards we get delivered so it’s a big nervous deal to us.

So what’s this mean for you?  It’s a good time (as always) to build up those back links.  You should be working on this a little bit each and every day so you can show steady consistent quality back links.  This separates you from the link farm approach of instantly existing everywhere with links right back at those sites as payment.  It also generates a small but constantly growing stream of traffic for free.

Enough about that, let’s have some fun with this one.  Post a comment with your guess as to what date the Google PageRank update will begin (they can take several days to complete).

My guess is March 27, they seem to be a little more common near end of month and on weekends lately.

Well I guess they have started their work, coz just few days back when I checked in Google Webmaster Tools, my external links were updated so I thought before they actually complete this process why not help others to have benefit from it ;) So I posted this:
